by Max Cahn - The Bash Brothers…  ARE BACK!  Opposing players, this is your final warning as the Lancers tenacious defenders Troy Cole and Stephen Basso are back for another year of bashing and bruising.

Last year, 27 year old Cole and 26 year old Basso combined for 23 points and 26 blocked shots, as attackers always found trouble with this last line of defense.  As rookies, they had eyes on them from all over the country as two of the grittiest, and as most forwards would say "frustrating," defenders in the MISL.  If opposing players are looking for a physical game this season, they should come to the Blue Cross Arena and they’ll get one.

With plenty of damage done in their rookie season, imagine what they’ll do with a year of experience under their belts.  "I’ve been working out all offseason and ready to bash," said Cole.  "My fellow Bash Brother and I are ready to put on a show this season for our fans."

"It’s always physical in the defensive trenches and we’ll do whatever it takes to protect our keeper and bring home a championship to Rochester," said Basso.

The Bash Brothers and the Rochester Lancers home opener is Saturday, November 16 at 7pm as they host defending MISL champions, the Baltimore Blast.  The first 1,000 kids 12 and under will receive a free “Mohican Warrior” Mohawk wig!  To order tickets, or for more information, visit rlancers.com.
